Roger Rigorth (born in 1965 in Saanen, Switzerland) is an internationally recognized land art artist who focuses primarily on wood as a medium. For over 30 years, the trained sculptor has been creating extraordinary interventions in nature. Whimsical structures take the form of allegorical boats, tirelessly dancing winged mobiles, or floating “beehives.” The comprehensive illustrated book *Utopia of Nature* presents works from the past twelve years, supplemented by Rigorth’s drawings and enriched by poems by the award-winning poet Ishmael von Heidrick-Barnes.
