…The model for my works is nature in every respect. In the shell of a sunflower seed, in the pupa stage of the privet hawk moth, in the grain of wheat I find an excerpt from a development process. Although the cycle of nature is unstoppable, I want to pause with my art to look at individual stages isolated and entirely for themselves.
