To send the newsletter, we use "MailChimp", a newsletter sending platform of the provider The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA ("Rocket Science"). For this purpose, the email addresses of our newsletter recipients as well as the other data described above are transferred to the servers of Rocket Science in the USA. Rocket Science uses the transmitted data to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. The legal basis for the integration of Rocket Science is Art. 28 DS-GVO. The USA is not one of the countries in relation to which the European Commission has established an adequate level of data protection per se. However, Rocket Science is certified under the so-called EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, which ensures adequate protection of the transferred data. For certain technical processes of data analysis, processing or storage, the Gallery uses the support of external service providers (e.g. for obtaining aggregated, non-personal statistics from databases or for storing backup copies).
